Be part of The Calming Minds Project
Are you ready to make a difference?
Our programme explores what makes CBT effective in reducing worry and overthinking and how to improve it – and we want you to join us.

We’re gathering insights from anyone who experiences high levels of overthinking, worry, and rumination and are currently looking for volunteers to take part in the largest-ever international trial of treatments explicitly targeting overthinking, worry, and rumination.
This will help us better understand repetitive negative thoughts (RNT) and find new and better ways to prevent and treat anxiety and depression by targeting this key risk factor.
Ultimately, the feedback we receive from everyone who takes part will improve key CBT techniques and contribute to the development of groundbreaking new treatments for anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues to deliver a calmer mind for thousands of people like you.
What is CBT?
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a common talking therapy used to help people manage a range of mental health problems. Effective CBT can help change negative patterns of thinking and behaviour by identifying harmful thoughts, understanding their impact, and learning practical ways to manage and change them for a healthier, more positive mindset.
